AstronDX Technologies Sdn Bhd is an ISO 13485 certified manufacturer of in vitro diagnostic tests and nucleic acid extraction reagents with a focus on the development of innovative and accessible solutions for the detection, typing and monitoring of emerging and tropical diseases. AstronDX is based in the heart of the South-East Asian tropics, with its premises in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, just outside Kuala Lumpur.

Finn is a seasoned executive with a 25 years track record in molecular Diagnostics and has gained industry knowledge, market insight and management experience from positions held in Malaysia, China, South Korea and India for former employers artus GmbH and Qiagen. For the past 12 years Finn ensures the company’s alignment with its customer needs and market requirements to realize our vision and create impact for our customers, patients and communities.
Finn is a graduate of the University of Hamburg, Germany, with a PhD from the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine, Department of Virology.
Hoh is a senior executive with expertise built over 25 years of managing Finance, HR and Operations of Biotech companies. Hoh started her career as an auditor and after leading the Finance and Operations team of Qiagen Malaysia for 15 years, Hoh joined the company in 2018. Her vast experience and inspired leadership provide a solid foundation to the operational and financial backbone of AstronDX Technologies.
Hoh holds a CIMA Professional Qualification.
Noelle joined the company in 2015 and led the R&D team until 2021, when she shifted her focus to production and QC. With over 15 years of R&D experience in cellular and molecular biology, including a 6 years track record in IVD kit development, validation and documentation and the subsequent implementation and leadership of manufacturing operations, Noelle ensures AstronDX meets the highest levels of process safety and product quality.
Noelle holds a MSc. in Medical Parasitology from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
Before joining the team, Karti accumulated over 6 years experience in Regulatory Affairs for pharmaceuticals and medical devices building expertise in product and process validation following GMP guidelines, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IVDD and IVDR standards. In her role as the Quality Management Representative and leading the Regulatory Affairs team since 2020, Karti masters all regulatory requirements and is the force behind all market approvals.
Karti holds a BSc. in Biotechnology from the Asian Institute of Medicine, Science and Technology (AIMST) and is a certified Professional Technologist by the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT).
David built his broad experience over a 20 years history of working in various roles including application support, technical sales and territory sales functions, market development and distribution management. David held positions in artus GmbH, Qiagen and AITbiotech before joining in 2016 as partner and Head of Sales in ADT Molecular, a focused distribution company and AstronDX Technologies commercialization channel for SEA.
David holds a MSc. in Molecular Medicine from the University of Putra.
Nora joined the R&D team in 2020 and took leadership of the team in 2021. Her strong scientific acumen in molecular oncology with prior positions held in University Malaya and UKM Medical Molecular Biology Institute and her more recent experience and leadership in IVD kit development and validation, make her the innovative brain and resourceful mentor of the creative process in AstronDX, always ready to accept the toughest of new challenges.
Nora holds a PhD in Molecular Oncology from the University of Malaya.
CJ is an expert in molecular amplification technologies with a 20 years track record in application support and training. Before joining the team way back in 2012, he held positions in artus and Qiagen and is well recognized for his expertise, skills and solutions focus throughout Asia Pacific. Being our most senior mentor and adviser, he is the backbone to all things technical in the company; from R&D, over Production, to Regulatory Affairs, CJ has your back.
CJ holds a MSc. in Microbiology from the University of Malaya.
